The Angelic Choir of the Nigerian Igbo Catholic Community, Oakland Diocese celebrates the liturgy using their melodious voices to sing praises unto the Lord.
The mission of the NICC choir is to serve the liturgy while promoting the Igbo culture through songs, uplifting the minds of the worshippers in the traditional way, and motivating our children to learn to serve God in the Igbo culture.
The choir is devoted to the study, rehearsal, and singing of the traditional Igbo hymns form all periods in the context of the Roman Catholic Liturgical tradition.
Our day of practice is Saturday before the monthly mass by 5pm.
